Fantasy Online 2 Patch 149 Adds Player Housing Shared Across Worlds
Fantasy Online 2, the 2D pixel-art MMORPG from independent studio Pixel Games LLC, has opened up player housing. Patch Notes #149, titled "Bonko's Carnival" and published on Steam on 17 October 2026, lets players buy their first plot of land in the Mirabella Meadows neighbourhoods. The game is still in Early Access and costs RM26.75 on Steam Malaysia.
The housing system has an unusual design choice for an MMO: homes are not tied to one server. Deeds are account-wide, and a house is shared across every world, so players do not lose their home when they switch worlds.
How housing works in Patch 149
According to the official patch notes, the update:
- Enables Plot 1 purchases in active Mirabella Meadows neighbourhoods.
- Makes deeds account-wide, with housing shared across worlds.
- Shows the plot address on the deed's tooltip.
- Adds plot editing, with saved decorations that stay with the property when its deed changes hands.
- Fixes stale purchase confirmations that blocked retries, and interrupted purchases that left plot, coin or Market information wrong.
Because decorations stay with the property, a deed that changes owners carries the furnished house with it, not just the land. The patch notes do not say how deeds change hands, or what plots cost, so we have not guessed at either.
Bonko's Carnival: the rest of the update
Housing shares the patch with a new end-game area. Bonko's Carnival opens to characters at level 90 and above, through the mirror in Ghoulish Graveyard. Inside, players:
- Collect Carnival Tickets from mobs and exchange them for Golden Tickets.
- Trade Golden Tickets with Wacko the Clown for Prize Tickets, up to five times a day, and spend them at the Jackpot Jingles prize shop.
- Take on Honko's quest line, which ends with a reward called Bonko's Bonker.
- Face six new mobs and two bosses, plus a "Clownin' Around" debuff.
The patch also adds a Codex Feed for sharing and voting on screenshots, visual effects for all 35 debuff types, an Abandon option for daily and seasonal quests, and native crafting and Market notifications for Windows and macOS on Steam. Pixel Games says the Turkey Takeover event returns in November as part of its Season of Screams.

What it means for players in Malaysia
Fantasy Online 2 is a small game: Steam reported 47 players online when we checked. It is a digital-only Steam release with no physical edition to import. The interface supports Indonesian, Vietnamese and Simplified Chinese as well as English, and Steam lists cross-platform multiplayer, which makes it easy to play with friends around the region. Housing that follows your account across worlds also removes one common worry about joining an MMO late: you can pick a world with friends now without losing a home later.
Pixel Games LLC developer Jeromy Stroh told ROCKSTARmedia about this update. This is independent editorial coverage: we were not paid for it, and the developer did not review it before publication. All details come from the official Steam patch notes and store page.
