Super Slick FPS I Am Your Beast Hits Nintendo Switch

Developer Strange Scaffold has officially launched its high-speed first-person tactical revenge shooter, I Am Your Beast, for the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. Released digitally on 20th October via the Nintendo eShop for $19.99 (~RM88 estimated import conversion), the title expands beyond its initial 2024 PC release. Players control a retired operative retaliating against the Covert Operations Initiative across compact, hyper-agile combat sandboxes. For Malaysian and Southeast Asian players navigating the absence of an official Southeast Asian Nintendo eShop region, access requires purchasing through regional storefront accounts such as the North American eShop. The release delivers micro-sandbox shooting optimised for portable and docked play across both handheld hardware generations without platform fragmentation.

Key Facts

I Am Your Beast is available immediately on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 via digital eShop storefronts priced at $19.99 (~RM88).

What Core Gameplay Mechanics Define I Am Your Beast on Switch Platforms?

I Am Your Beast delivers an ultra-fast tactical revenge campaign spanning more than 20 fully voiced levels built around micro-sandbox velocity. Players wield pistols, sniper rifles, and environmental traps while pursuing optional secondary objectives and time-attack targets. Combat prioritises speed, verticality, tree climbing, and kinetic typography cutscenes accompanied by an original score composed by RJ Lake.

The campaign pits a grizzled veteran against the Covert Operations Initiative, a rogue military-industrial entity repeatedly demanding forced deployments. Combat encounters emphasise dynamic tactical freedom, rewarding fluid transitions between firearm ballistics, close-quarters takedowns, and improvised environmental traps within densely packed arenas.

Southeast Asia & Malaysian Collector Verdict

Malaysian and Southeast Asian gamers must acquire I Am Your Beast digitally via an alternate regional Nintendo account, as the game currently lacks a physical cartridge release. With a retail price of $19.99 (~RM88), regional consumers bypass the import freight premiums and distributor markups typical of physical import distributors such as Play-Asia.

Physical preservation enthusiasts across Southeast Asia should note that neither standard retail editions nor Asian-region multilingual cartridges have been confirmed for production. Hardware compatibility remains completely uninhibited, as Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 consoles support region-free digital downloads across multiple active user accounts on a single system.

Malaysian gamers must utilise a North American or regional Nintendo eShop account to purchase the digital-only download of I Am Your Beast for approximately RM88.
